About Me

Barbara Vasconcelos Cimatti was born in Boston, but grew up in Brazil for most of her life. In 2018, Barbara got her bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Interactive Media with a minor in International Affairs from Northeastern University (Boston). While in university, she worked for several organizations as a marketing intern and assistant.

After graduation, Barbara taught English privately in Thailand and as a volunteer in Peace Corps Ecuador. She was evacuated from Ecuador due to COVID-19 in early 2020, and later completed her studies with a masters degree in International Relations at Syracuse University. During her masters, she worked at different international organizations using her skills in communications and marketing.

After her masters, she worked full-time as a recruiter and project manager in the international development field, where she learned valuable skills in managing budgets, people, and tight deadlines.

She is now looking to bring her skills to work in a marketing and communications role at a mission-driven organization.
